Our Mission:
Roots of Development is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that helps impoverished communities in Haiti obtain the resources they need to sustainably manage their own development. Event Date and Location (rain or shine):
Sunday, September 20, 2009 E. O. Smith High School, 1235 Storrs Rd., Storrs, CT 06268 (start and finish) The 40 mile and 20 mile rides begin at 8:30am and the 4.5 mile family ride begins at 11:30am

If you choose to wait, you may register on the day of the event from 7:30-8:30am. However, the first 100 people to register on-line will receive Roots T-shirts!
Distances & Fees:
40 mile Ride- $30/person
20 mile Ride- $25/person 4.5 mile Family Ride- $10/person (Children under 9 ride free)
*Registration fee waived/refunded if you raise $50 or more in donations.
The cyclist to raise the most money in donations will win a three-night stay for two at
the Brezavar Bed & Breakfast in Manhattan, NYC.
